ONLINE BEGINNER JAPANESE LESSONS

I’m Pat, an English teacher living in Tokyo, Japan with 12 years of Japanese study experience and daily use of the language. I may not be a native speaker, but I understand what it takes to learn Japanese, from experience.

For the past couple of years, I have been teaching online lessons to beginners. My students’ skills have progressively increased to be able to read manga in Japanese, watch anime and understand some basic conversations, and a couple have even reached the level where they will be able to take the JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test.)

Lesson fees:

Group Monthly ticket (4 lessons)
¥30,000 in total (5 person limit) [about ~$220 ｜see below]

Private Monthly ticket (4 lessons)
¥18,000 in total [about ~$130 ｜ see below]

*We request students to make lesson payments through PayPal prior to a monthly ticket‘s start date. A link for payment is posted on the discord server.
**The term “monthly ticket” refers to the expiration of one ticket being 31 days (one month.) Therefore, all 4 lessons should take place within the span of one month.
***Due to exchange rates, prices in local currencies will vary.  For example, prices as of 2022 August 26 are 219 USD for a group ticket and 131 USD for a private ticket.
****For group lessons, the price is the total for the group. If there are 5 people, you would divide the price amongst your members:  ¥6,000 per person / ¥1,500 per lesson ← about $44 / $11
